Avocado, Honey and Olive Oil Hair Mask

Avocados are loaded with powerful oils that make it an excellent moisturizing treatment for dry and brittle hair.  Honey is naturally high in vitamins and minerals, and has the ability to help your hair retain water and moisture.  Olive oil is moisturizing and protecting.  Combining all three in a hair mask will help moisturize, strengthen, and give shine back to your hair.

Comments

  1. I have really thick hair, and I think that it would love some time with this hair mask. I would find it very difficult not to eat the ingredients for this mask.

  2. You could keep the mask for a little bit longer, an hour or so. One hour is enough for the oil to penetrate the hair and the scalp all the way to the hair roots. Covering the hair, will trap the heat generated by your body in the mask, making it faster to be absorbed. Afterwards, rinse with coldish water, to close the pores and keep the good stuff, and if you are using any shampoo afterwards, try to use as little as possible and rinse as quick as possible. Shampoo is degresant. You want to keep the good oils from the mask in.

  3. Greetings, can I can the remainder mixture and store in my fridge? Thank you in advance!
